Nolv is business software: it reads the invoices you give it, works out why a payment is stuck, and drafts the message to fix it. This page explains what information Nolv collects to do that, why, and what control you have over it.

Nolv is built for businesses, not for the general public, and isn't directed at consumers or children. If something here doesn't match what you'd expect, reach out — see Contact below.

What we collect

We collect only what's needed to run your account and the invoices you choose to bring into Nolv:

• Account details — your business name, work email, and password. Your password is handled entirely by our authentication provider and is never stored by Nolv in readable form.
• Invoice data you enter — customer name, customer email, amount, due date, and any notes you add (like "disputing part of the amount" or "no reply yet").
• Billing information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor collects your card details directly. Nolv never sees or stores your card number.
• Usage activity — which features you've used and how many times, so free-plan limits work correctly and so we can fix things that break.

How we use it

We use your information only to run and improve Nolv:

• To find the likely reason an invoice is stuck and draft a message addressing it, using the invoice notes you provide.
• To send reminder and follow-up emails — automatically on paid plans, or when you choose to send one yourself on any plan.
• To run your subscription: billing, upgrades, and downgrades.
• To keep the product secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems when something goes wrong.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to serve ads — Nolv doesn't run ads at all.

Who we share it with

Nolv relies on a small number of specialist providers to function. Each only receives what it needs to do its specific job:

• Database & authentication — stores your account and invoice data, and handles secure login.
• Payments — processes subscription billing; handles your card details directly, we never do.
• AI drafting — receives the invoice notes and context needed to work out the likely reason for non-payment and draft a message, for that single request.
• Email delivery — sends reminder and follow-up emails on your behalf, from Nolv's sending address.

We don't share your data with anyone else, and none of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and invoice data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account and you're the only person on your team, your invoices and activity history are deleted along with it.

One exception: if you were on the Free plan, we keep a record of how much of your free lifetime limits (invoices, drafts, reminders, emails sent) you'd already used, tied to your email address. This is so the same free allowance can't be reset just by deleting an account and signing up again — it doesn't include your invoices, messages, or any business data, only the count.

Your rights

You can see, correct, or remove your invoice data at any time directly in Nolv. You can delete your account from your account menu whenever you like — this is permanent and can't be undone. If you'd like a copy of your data, or have any other request about your information, contact us and we'll help directly.

Security

All traffic to and from Nolv is encrypted in transit. Passwords are never stored by Nolv in readable form. Access to your data is limited to what each part of the system needs to function, and API keys and credentials used to talk to providers are kept on the server, never exposed to the browser.

Children

Nolv is business software built for companies, not individual consumers, and it is not directed at or intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters to how your data is handled, we'll update the date at the top of this page and let you know by email.

Overview

Nolv is business software that reads the invoices you give it, works out why a payment is stuck, and drafts the message to fix it. Nolv is operated by Shahzad Ahmad Manj, based in Pakistan. By creating an account or using Nolv, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You need an account to use Nolv. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up, and you must be legally able to enter into these terms — if you're using Nolv on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans (Sovereign and Empire) are billed monthly from the moment you subscribe, until you cancel or move to the Free plan. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as our Merchant of Record — this means Paddle, not Nolv, is the seller of record for your subscription, handles your payment details directly, and is responsible for order processing, tax collection, and payment security. Nolv never sees or stores your card details.

When you cancel a paid plan, you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for — you won't be charged again after that, and your account moves to the Free plan automatically.

Free plan

The Free plan has lifetime usage limits on invoices, AI drafts, and emails sent. These limits are tied to your email address and don't reset if you delete your account and sign up again with the same email.

Acceptable use

Use Nolv honestly and legally. Don't use it to send misleading or harassing messages, don't try to break or bypass its security or usage limits, and don't use it in a way that harms Nolv, our providers, or other users.

Ownership

Nolv, its design, and its code belong to us. Your invoice data and business information stay yours — using Nolv doesn't give us ownership of it, only permission to process it in order to provide the service.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the account menu — this is permanent. If you're the only person on your team, your invoices and history are deleted with it. If you have teammates, they keep working, and any paid subscription simply won't renew after the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the service, or attempt to abuse free-plan limits.

Disclaimer & liability

Nolv is provided "as is." AI-drafted messages and suggested reasons for non-payment are a starting point, not guaranteed to be accurate — you're responsible for reviewing anything before it's sent. To the extent permitted by law, Nolv isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Overview

We want paying for Nolv to feel low-risk. This page explains when you can get your money back.

Money-back window

If you subscribe and Nolv isn't right for you, contact us within 7 days of your payment for a full refund, no questions asked. Outside that window, cancelling stops future charges but doesn't refund the current billing period — you'll keep access until it ends, as described in our Terms of Service.

How to request a refund

Email us with the address you signed up with and we'll process it directly, or handle it together with Paddle if needed. Refunds are typically returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Paddle as our payment processor

All payments for Nolv are handled by Paddle.com, acting as Merchant of Record. Paddle may apply its own refund and dispute processes in addition to the window described above, particularly for tax or payment-related issues.
